Joshua and Brett have been building their life together since January 2018 and were married in April 2021. Before relocating to Florida, they lived in North Carolina, where Brett served in the United States Coast Guard as an Aviation Electrical Technician and Joshua worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home.
After Brett completed his military service, they joined a traveling paintless dent repair company, following hailstorms and helping restore storm-damaged vehicles. During an anniversary trip to Tampa, they fell in love with the area’s close-knit community feel, big-city opportunity, and unmistakable energy.
As a married gay couple, and fellow veterans, Joshua and Brett bring a perspective to real estate shaped by service, community, and the importance of feeling at home. Today, through The Husbands of Tampa Bay, they help buyers and sellers throughout Tampa Bay navigate real estate with personal guidance, careful organization, and an inclusive approach that welcomes everyone.
